Message	I'd bet that repeated start, stop, grocery getting and sitting in traffic are harder on the block than redlining a properly warmed up car. Your turbo is a super interesting case. Was it the boost? Or had its lubrification or cooling system failed? Or was it just old? (RPM doesn't necessarily enter into the equation). Plus fixing it is sooo much "fun":-). And you get to think about all this cool stuff too while you are at it :-) I do agree 110 percent that it is all the peripheral systems that chew up all our cash, as I am sure you are "enjoying" as we speak LOL.
